PageDog is a local-first macOS app for monitoring exact website changes without repeatedly checking pages by hand. Select the part of a page that matters, define one testable goal—such as a price dropping below a threshold, an item returning to stock, tickets going on sale, or an appointment opening—and choose a schedule. PageDog runs checks through your local browser session and uses hosted AI to determine whether the goal happened. Unlike broad page-diff tools that flag every edit, PageDog evaluates only the evidence needed for your goal. That makes alerts easier to trust and more useful for real decisions. Browser sessions and check history stay on your Mac. Only evidence from the selected page area is sent for AI evaluation, so signed-in pages can be monitored without moving your entire browsing session to the cloud. Flexible scheduling supports intervals, daily windows, specific times, and weekdays-only checks. When the goal is met, PageDog sends an email alert with the supporting evidence. The recurring free plan includes 20 completed AI checks per month. Pro costs $10/month, and Max costs $90/year. PageDog supports macOS 12 or later on Apple silicon and Intel.
