CodexTheme Tools is a free, unofficial theme builder for the Codex Desktop app. Pick a wallpaper (your image never leaves the browser), extract palettes, tune real interface surfaces — sidebar, card, composer opacity, borders, corner radius, shadows, text brightness — and preview five workspace views live (Home, Task, Diff, Terminal, Settings) with an AA readability contrast check. Start from 24 curated presets, then export wallpaper (WebP/PNG), recipe JSON, tokens or a data-only ZIP with SHA-256. Includes separate macOS/Windows install and restore guides. No account, no upload, easy to restore. Privacy-first and fully free. Website: https://codextheme.tools/
